Brandon Phillips

BP takes alot of crap for hitting into alot of DP's, but I gotta say, he's da man. When everyone is struggling, he's carrying the offense. I think people forget he's picking up the power drought with Dunn gone, Votto out, and Bruce struggling. Props to BP. 11 HR's so far. He's on pace for 25 HR's and over 100 rbi.

And defensively, he is probably one of the most underrated players in baseball. 3 rbi's yesterday.

hey Dude

i deleted your post about Homer Bailey. you cant just cut and paste an article into a FanPost like that. if all you have is a link, put it in a FanShot.

also, this one about BP could easily be a comment in another thread instead of a FanPost. im not trying to dog you about all this because i know you are still a relative newb, but rather im just trying to let you know the proper parliamentary procedure ’round here.

You're so 2000 and late

ditto

from here on out, these kinds of posts will be deleted. If you’ve got something deeper than a “woohoo” that you want to say, then put it in a fanpost. Otherwise, use comments or fanshots, please.

What would really help the Reds would be to acquire P J Phillips

who is a pretty slick fielding SS from the Angels and then get Jayson Nix to play 3B. thenour 1st 4 batters could be:

PJ Phillips
Brandon Phillips
Jayson Nix
Laynce Nix

Yawn….sigh

I think I would know Nora's fart anywhere. I think I could pick hers out in a roomful of farting women.

Or the Reds couls acquire Jack Wilson

and we’d have a WIlson Phillips middle of the infield. Or we could just nix that idea.

I'm worried that Brandon Phillips will become the Reds' Chad Johnson-Ochocinco

He’s got crazy talent, and he plays his role well. But when the team doesn’t come through, everyone turns and looks at him. They look at his moods, his off the field antics, and the fact that he might not run out a popup. Ultimately, he’s the guy the media and fans blame. Like Chad, Brandon seems to take a lot of undeserved crap about things that have nothing to do with baseball.

but phillips also puts himself out there

and he does say some things that he probably shouldn’t say, like openly defying his manager.

I thought they were going to go straight from blaming Dunn to blaming Bruce.

Me too

There is a distinct difference between Adam and Jay’s strikeouts. Adam took called strikes that were 1-2 inches out of the strikezone, while Jay swings at pitches that bounced twice on their way to the plate. Both are maddening. But for some reason people in Cincinnati do not like taking pitches. SWING, GODDAMNIT!!!

Hey! I get to watch Danny Graves lose a game today!

It’s skinny, the-ball-can-move Graves, but still, what a way to start an afternoon.
Thanks, MLB Network!
