Dusty sez...
It has been a long time since I’ve reached that low to pat a butt.
Let me write out a formal proof for you.

well, that's a relief
At least we know he’s not a child molester.
What a great article. I love it.
“The first time I saw him was last year during the week of the Kentucky Derby, and we figured he would have to leave the team that Saturday to go ride one of the horses,” said Nationals outfielder Adam Dunn, who was Herrera’s teammate last season in Cincinnati. “I’ve never faced him. But I haven’t faced anyone his size since I was 11 or 12 years old.”
Herrera has heard it all and seen it all.
“The best one was last year,” he said. “I was at [Triple-A] Louisville. One of our catchers, Albert Colina, who is a really big guy, picked me up and put me in his lap as he sat in the bullpen. Then he stuck his arm inside my jacket, and up my back. He wouldn’t let me go. I thought, ‘What is he doing?’ Then, whenever I would talk, he would move his lips. Everyone was cracking up. He was the ventriloquist, and I was puppet. That was the best one.”

I'll be impressed
when a small player who has a little heart succeeds in the big leagues.

I'm a small time player with little to no heart
And I have occasionally succeeded in the big leagues. Impressed?

How are we defining success here?
Let me write out a formal proof for you.

I've been and continue to be a big DRH fan
I hope he stays around and has continued success. he’s a tiger.

Still tired of Danny.
His ERA may be low, but seemingly every outing he’s either putting himself in a jam or letting his inherited runners score, and I’m not cool with either one. I’d much rather have Viola.
Honestly, the thing I don’t like about Danny is that if he was 6-2, he probably never would’ve made it past AAA, because he’s just not very good. His shortness doesn’t work against him, it works in his favor.

I agree, it's a novelty
But all in all he’s not that bad. Although I’d probably take Viola too.

He hasn't been that bad so far.
But I just can’t see his success continuing without some significant improvement in control out of him. He’s a ticking time bomb, and while he might be able to succeed against guys when he first sees them, I think the more people see of him, the worse his results will be.

What are you smokin'? Every time I watch him, he's pretty much lights out.
I guess you’ll let Weathers and the rest of the bullpen slide, who consistently put runners on board?
