No, I was there
I will weigh in that I actually kind of respect Green Day’s new direction. You can’t sing about getting high all day when you’re well into your 30’s (ahem, Buffett). So good of them to get ambitious, and I think they succeeded more than failed with “American Idiot.” Factor in “Dookie,” and they had two of the defining albums of two different decades. Not too shabby.

Dusty Baker and trainer Steve Baumann joined them. Volquez tried stretch. But he was at 93 pitches anyway, so the Reds took him out. Mike Lincoln came on and struck out Hudley.
