Dusty said he probably
wouldn’t PH Owings the day before he starts to prevent injury
Probably not a terrible idea
Dusty Prefers...
… injuries to come because of throwing 140 pitches per outing.
this bullpen
(outside of El Presidente) has been lights-out.

Obama's a Pitcher?
Heck, if he can throw strikes, I might have voted differently.
Abraham the 16th President..
And Danny Ray wasn’t great in his appearance..

Nice work Weathers
Mets color guys were talking about how important it was to get Cora out so he didn’t have to face Gary “I suck without steroids” Sheffield
Weathers gives 'em the ol' Corey Patterson Special
3 pitches, 2 outs.

Mets announcers
think it’s good that Dickerson was erased. Since Taveras is a speedster, y’know.

then he cant get a save
without giving up a bunch of runs first

So has anyone gotten mlb.tv?
I was just looking at it. It seems that both the Orioles and Nationals are blacked out here, but somehow not the Braves.
And then there’s the “premium” version…but maybe neither will work on linux, anyway.
We want to build long period of time. I didn’t come here for the shot run.
i took the plunge
but haven’t been able to watch any of the games because the mets are blacked-out here.
(which makes sense, it being queens and all.)
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have you all here
But does it seem like we’ve gotten a bunch of NYC based posters in the last month or so?
i was thinking the same thing
i checked my pocket to make sure my wallet was there.

It definitely has, at least for a game that counts
It’s probably partly because Marty actually seemed excited about what was going on, which we should probably enjoy now because it won’t be happening in 3 weeks

The Detroit Lions
Are celebrating by popping open their juiceboxes.
They shouldn't be yet
They should wait until the Nats get their first win of the season (against the Reds, probably)

The Detroit Lions could've gotten it done.
Actually, I think that is exactly what they are trying to accomplish.

19 walks 22 hits in the series, not too bad.
1 win not too great. But that is more base-clogging that I expected especially when you consider opening day.
Yeah, I'm really impressed with the amount of walks that we're taking
Seems like our starters are giving up a bunch too (and Lefty Smurf), so that’s less thrilling, but hey, offense!
