I think I was leaning against this move anyway. Let the young guys take over this team and let's see where that gets us.

It's probably a good thing
I think he would have been better than the projections, and would have been an ideal role player, but it’s probably for the best we don’t even get to find out. I still am somewhat hoping the Nats cut Austin Kearns, but he’s been pretty strong the last 2 or 3 weeks of camp, so I doubt they do that…
