Encarnacion to DL
As I suspected in the game wrap-up thread yesterday, Edwin Encarnacion has been diagnosed with a Bone Chip in his left wrist, and has been placed on the 15-Day DL. He also is battling a right shoulder issue, that bothers him when throwing. Adam Rosales has been called up, and should be available by game time tonight.
Let's hope EdE can get healthy , get some rest, and have a good rehab, and while he is away Rosales rakes in his absence. EdE battled a wrist problem in Spring Training, and you have to wonder and assume that's why he hasn't been all that good so far this year. Other than his Grand Salami in Milwaukee, can anyone remember a hard hit ball of his bat?
Funny, John Fay had a quote from Dusty this afternoon that said Edwin "wasn't ban enough for DL". Looks like it's a good thing the Reds poked him with Doc Kremchek's stick.

Surprised...
My sources had not said this.
I think he needs an MRI.

Who are scouts for teams OTHER than the Reds.
Who might be using you to spread disinformation about Reds prospects throughout Redsland and having a grand old laugh about it.

Or they could be Reds scouts... seems like almost everyone the Reds employ is rather laughable...

This will be the end of Rosales
There is no way Duaty plays him. We’re going to get a steady dose of McDonald and Hairston, and Rosales will cool off.
The end of Rosales?
That makes no sense… The kid is going to be fine….Phillips better start swinging the stick though
"And this one belongs to the Reds"
MMMMM meythinks BP will be fine
C-Dick and Gonzo are the guys on the bubble..esp. cause chris keeps dropping balls. If McFlurry could catch the ball he’d be be pushing Dickerson out the door…but both these guys arre stretched to the limit of the abilities right now..hope they both come around.
I want to be there when a trailer full of coffins slams into a an ambulance full of terminally ill Bolivians. Or when the Reds win a WS..whichever comes first....
Once he comes back he should have a comfy seat saved for him on the bench. Rosales is playing great at 3rd base and should get to stay there.
so 2 games of good baseball from Rosales
trumps 3 years of good baseball from Encarnacion?
Consider the Eskimos.
