Game 10, Thread 2

We're cluttering up the front page with game threads to minimize the number of hits we get, in solidarity with the Reds offense.  Wandy Freakin' Rodriguez has 10 strikeouts through 7 innings.

Astros lead 3-0 in the middle of the 7th.

Refused to get offense for this team. Refused to let the offense in the minors come up. Signed washed up crap from around the league instead.

Anyone in AA or AAA could come up and man LF or short right now

This team un-willingness to experiment discouraging. I’m not even sure if the Reds were playing like the Nats that we’d see a Lastings Millege situation. They’d still be starting Nix, McDonald and Gonzalez regularly.

I think Gonzalez has the equivalent of an "old college injury"

that’s never going away. No one’s admitting it cuz he’s guaranteed $5M+ and still wants to start.
