So who is on YOUR Reds team?
We've all made all-time Reds teams, and they are largely all the same. But who would be on YOUR all-time team? We're not talking about who would be the BEST team, but instead the team that comprises the players you like the most.
This is an all-time team, comprised of players who played at least one game for the Reds. I'd love to say just make a lineup or some other restriction. But with this group of chuckleheads who like to color outside the lines, I know better than to make rules that will certainly be broken immediately.
Here's MY team:
C Ernie Lombardi
C Lloyd McClendon
C King Kelly
1B Sean Casey
1B Dmitri Young
SS Don Zimmer
3B Chris Sabo
OF/1B Adam Dunn
OF Eric Davis
OF Wily Mo Pena
UT Darnell Coles
UT Pete Rose
UT Ryan Freel
IF Billy Martin
P/PH Brooks Kieschnick
LHSP Danny Jackson
RHSP Jose Rijo
RHSP Jared Fernandez
LHSP David Wells
RHRP Hector Carrasco
LHRP Danny Rey Herrera
RHRP Kent Tekulve
LHRP Norm Charlton
LHP Joe Nuxhall
RHRP Brad Leslie
MGR Lou Piniella
A nice collection of knuckleballers, submariners, hustlers, and flakes. My kinda team.
What's yours?

I really don't have favorites anymore...since Adam was traded it just too painful
Here, however is my all-time Reds most boring starting line up. There’s so many to choose from, but these guys were also pretty incompetent players as well
C – Chad Moeller
1B – Larry Biittner
2b – Junior Kennedy
SS – Seeter Barnes
3B – Brandon Larson
LF – Mel Queen
CF- Steve Gibralter
RF – Pete Whisenant
P – Sherman Jones
Larry Biitner, wasn’t too bad of a player but he always looked like he should have played pro softball –
Its probably going to happen - bend over

Aw common...
Don’t I deserve some love?
And Adam Dunn's spirit, ranging for revenge / With Ate by his side come hot from hell, / Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice / Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war...

Ballclubs
Im going with a more obscure roster of ballplayers who I actually did like. Some for their comedic value(why are they on this roster?!?), some because i remember their baseball cards from my youth, and some that really never realized the potential that many of us thought they had.

Lots to like here.
Perhaps the Santo Alcala is the pinnacle of this list.

not as much fun as Team Onomatopoeia
but that is a sweet team. We’d put up some W’s with those guys on the field.
Wouldn’t that be great? “Pinch hitting for the pitcher Soto, #20, Frank…. Robinson….”

I think we'd have to let them fight for it.
I would soooooo pay to see that.
And Mordecai Peter Centennial Brown should be on everyone’s list.

Herm Winningham
is on my list of favorite Reds because of a comment he made. It was something like he would sign a contract for league minimum just so he could play baseball. This was at a time when I was becoming more and more disgusted at the amount of money players were demmanding.

I got to see him in a Reds uniform in ST, and that's good enough for me
If a fight breaks out, we need him there.
decent offense..horrible pitching
Just like the Reds teams I grew up with, Petey. It’s all I know.
