That is if Sparky could string a group of words together in any kind of a coherent sentence.
Pete wasn’t that fast (when will Dusty ever learn) but he put the fear in so many pitchers and he was a switch hitter. With Joe batting 2nd his speed could (occasionally enough) keep you out of a DP.
