Apparently Atlanta is having a hard time knowing when its deals are done. First Furcal, now Griffey.

I think this is what everyone wanted, but wasn't the offer originally for two years? It'll be fun to see him appreciated again, and not living out his days as a part-timer in Atlanta. Word.

i am going to have to write down all my terms before i go to class

so i can spell them correctly when i write them on the board, so my students realize they are important, you know students only write it down if the prof puts it on the board……..

I am a step closer to my “tenured” position, I finished the rough draft of my senior research. I will turn in a final over the weekend, and take a few finals give my GPA one final boast, spend a little time in Pittsburgh with the girlfriend, and then I am off to Tampa for a few days, and hopefully Germany in the summer, and grad school in the fall, I am still waiting for all the schools i applied to to make a decision, it is killing me.

I wonder if an elite athlete rally likes it when he’s reached a point or place where he’s never booed anymore. Might he not hear amid all that adulation the sharpening of the long knives?
