Votto and the WBC

I am pretty much a lurker for the most part, however I saw this story by Mark Sheldon and thought I would post the link.

I also thought I would take this time to thank Slyde and everyone for all there hard work here at RR.You have made this the first and often the only website I hit when I get a chance to get on the web. I look forward to being more involved in game threads this season.

Votto believes he can serve both masters — his country and his employer.

Totally racist.

The only real downside I see is if Jo-eh were to somehow get hurt in the WBC, and then we’d be stuck with Daryle Ward being our first baseman. Unless they shifted EdE over there, but I don’t see that happening. Mostly though, I hope Votto kicks some ass (politely) and lets the world know what a great first baseman we have.

Feel free to get more involved even before the game threads.
