Joey Votto Interview at Toronto autograph session

I stumbled across this clip (I'm sorry if it has already been posted somewhere here) of Votto chatting with some Toronto something or other.  He talks about Rolen being a positive influence, but my favorite part was when he said that he is "perfectly happy wearing Red right now".  I wonder if Votto will ever end up in Toronto.  If he does, I just hope it's way down the road.  I believe Bubba has already decided Joey is going to spend his twilight MLB years as a DH in New York, though, so sorry Canada!

Again, nothing significant, but nice to hear from JV:

I actually somewhat enjoyed discipline and punish

I think there is something to Foucault, but I think he has too much influence on the field.

I think the guy in the background has a bigger crush on Votto than poodle

and geez, what an accent.

I guess I don't notice the accent that much

Well it’s not as pronounced as Survivorman’s accent (Les Stroud). I’m not a complete loser I just watch too much Discovery channel! (maybe the states of activity are he same though)

Love the guy

He does sound like one of the Kids in the Hall, which is pretty cool.

Yeah, those guys and the Cincinnati Reds. They're a terrible football team. / Because they're a baseball team? / Exactly. You know who's the worst football team? The Philadelphia Flyers. - Best Show

There's a new Toronto Kid?

We like to keep our city clean, eh?

Hey, aren’t you kind of a long way from your sexist football coachs, your polluted Ohio River, and your third-rate mass transit system, Cincinnati Kid?

Definitely a good argument.

Pretty scathing indictment of Cincinnati in that sketch

not the least of which being how annoying Bruce McCullough acts. Prefer to think of Steve McQueen.
