On accident I clicked on jch24's RR screen info. I was surprised to learn he has 4999 posts. I sure thought 5k was an accomplishment worthy of recognizing (I'm at a lowly 1100 and change). Congrats, J.
So.......who do we think the top 10 posters are in terms of all-time posts? I have a couple hunches, and I was surprised by the sheer volume by one member of the community here.

i am at about 3000 overall
from before and after the switch.
I disappear for periods of time too. With about 3 weeks to go before senior research is due hopefully I’ll be disappearing real soon. Plus I am not very active in game threads, between not having a computer near a TV at home, generally spending the hours between 7-10 doing homework when i’m at school, and working second shift.

The comment total is across all of SBNation. As such, this only my 4,848th comment on RR. Which number are we going off of? And I was surprised to see I have 100+ comments at Brew Crew Ball, sweet.

and out of the ones I checked Brendan, Man Mountain, and then Madville are next. Using the 5 words I put in the filter, you only had two less profane posts than Madville, but since everybody loves rate statistics, I don’t think anyone would be able to touch 7.7% of Madville’s posts containing profanity. Unless anyone checks themself to have more than boobs does, in which case the torch will be passed.

Are you counting a post with 1 profanity as being profane, then dividing by the total number of posts? Because many of Madville’s have several profanities.

So basically, any post that contains one profanity is profane, and there’s no easy way to count how many there are within each post.

sukr was around for Reds Daily. I was there right at the end of Reds Daily, just after I started GARB. JD was the first person to link to me, after like my 3rd post. I didn’t have a clue what I was even doing at that point.

yeah, those got to be a little hard to manage
first, trying to fit it in everybody’s schedule and then second, trying to do it in a format that was comprehensible. I wasn’t working back when we started doing those, so I had plenty of time to make them flow better. Once I started working, it stopped being worth the effort.

without going through all of the posts on the entire site. However, crolfer’s burning of the oreo package netted him a cool 13 recs for one post, and I don’t think that’s been topped. Has it?

most rec'd commenter isn't as easy to find
because it requires multiple clicks to get to the right page. It’s much more tedious that checking comment count.
And as BK said, it’s even harder to find a single comment that has been rec’d the most. We have no record of that on the back end.

I have thought of that as being an interesting posting stat, but rec’s didn’t arrive until after the new SB nation format switch. There are a lot of folks with a lot of posts since long before that so the numbers would be skewed in favor of those who joined more recently.

I seem to remember a game thread last season that was basically just you
