Speaking of free-agent pitchers the Brewers are not making a play for, left-hander Mark Mulder joined a large group of family and friends on a Caribbean cruise last week. Also on deck were Melvin and Reds general manager Walt Jocketty, whose families meet for an annual year-end holiday.

I was thinking some pitching cheap coming this way
After all, MLB network “expert” Joe Magrane suggested that you trade Harang and another starter so that you could hire a couple FAs. I think one was Randy Wolf. I forget the other but the idea was idiotic.

yes, it's been a common theme from people who don't really pay attention
that the Reds should trade Harang. Cause nothing makes more sense than trading a pitcher after his worst season of his career.

Yes, that is stupid, but tossing away Harang and another starter to bring in mediocre free agents is beyond lame…
