Fans Get Another Chance To Vote Nuxhall Into Hall Of Fame
CINCINNATI — Loyal fans get another chance to vote the Ol’ Left Hander into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Joe Nuxhall is eligible for the Ford C. Frick Award, which is presented every year to a broadcaster for “major contributions to baseball.” This is the fifth year in a row that Nuxhall has been up for the honor.

That Fred Thompson was a fucking idiot, but I had my Thompsons confused.
Oh, and ’tHan – UK sucks and we both know it but how in the hell do YOU manage to get banned from a UK message board?
How can such a good looking man be so bad at getting to first base?

As far as the UK message board….
I’m spoiled by the posters here, but the one’s on truebluekentucky.com are just dumb.
Every comment is “You the man, Maggard” or “Go Get ’em Billy G” or “Billy G is the man” or “Billy Clyde never rests!” (I really hate the Billy Clyde nickname)
None of the posts add any value to the thread. I told them that their posts were stupid, and that if that was all they had to say, then maybe they should just keep their comments to themselves. The moderators over there took offense to it, because I wasn’t being “appreciative” for getting to post there.

FYI – Jack ‘Thompson’ (nee Offe) legally changed his name to Thompson after a quiet marriage ceremony in San Francisco to Fred Thompson in 2005. Apparently it was a beautiful ceremony with music by NWA. Fred’s best man was Marissa Haggerty and Jack’s Matron of Honor was also Marissa Haggery. These are two scary guys that were made for each other.
You can tell your uncle stuff that you could not tell your dad. That is kind of the role of an uncle. I feel very much like a father sometimes but sometimes I feel like a teammate.
