Anyway, Ben Folds was walking across Franklin Street and he does this silly/nerdy half jog across the intersection. Coming the other way is this phalanx of middle school girls at volleyball camp. And they are making fun of the way he’s walking across the intersection.

About 20 yards away, Tyler Hansbrough is sitting on a stone wall reading the student paper. Or at least staring at it.

I’m actually on friendly terms with Robert Sledge, his former bass player. Robert’s married to one of my colleagues.
