questions

is the korean season over? is that why lehr and shearn both came back to the US?

what’s up with marcus mcbeth? i liked him.

has reds fandom ceased to exist? ( i understand if the answer is yes. why is it so different this year? has our patience just run out?)

No I don't think it worked out for either of those guys

1. They refused to eat Rat Meat
2. They confused Koreans with the Chinese
3. They drove Japanese cars
4. They didn’t get invited to the Yoo Ye-eun recital

5. their pitching sucked

You can tell your uncle stuff that you could not tell your dad. That is kind of the role of an uncle. I feel very much like a father sometimes but sometimes I feel like a teammate.

Shearn and Lehr were both released

Basically, because they sucked.

Demian Blue has been reporting on it.

Not minor league related, but

apparently the Reds asked for Ryan Spilborghs in return for Josh Fogg. This from the Rocky Mountain News:

The trade dead has passed but teams are still looking for help. The Rockies wouldn’t mind adding a starting pitching, but they weren’t about to overpay so they didn’t get anything done by Thursday’s deadline.

Faced it. When Cincinnati wants Ryan Spilborghs for Josh Fogg, the no thanks comes easy. Fogg may be a popular figure in the Rockies clubhouse, but good guys only go so far. Spilborghs is popular, too, and he’s a consistent contributor, when he is healthy.

Quick, trade him before his ERA rockets past 7.00!

Christ on a foul pole. Why would anyone even think about trading for Josh Fogg? Is Krivsky trying to sink the Rockies too?
