his current pattern for August does not bode well for a good month this year:
2001: 1.088 OPS
2002: .588 OPS
2003: .588 OPS (just 50 PAs because of injury)
2004: 1.001 OPS
2005: .795 OPS
2006: .700 OPS
2007: 1.064 OPS
So, August 2008 and August 2009 probably won’t be very good. That’s concrete evidence right there.
