They were walking in the dugout having an “adult discussion” and Parra flung his jacket in the general direction of Fielder. Prince shoved Parra into the bench, then in the face. Fielder was then restrained by four teammates and one C. Montgomery Burns.

unfortunately
his current pattern for August does not bode well for a good month this year:
2001: 1.088 OPS
2002: .588 OPS
2003: .588 OPS (just 50 PAs because of injury)
2004: 1.001 OPS
2005: .795 OPS
2006: .700 OPS
2007: 1.064 OPS
So, August 2008 and August 2009 probably won’t be very good. That’s concrete evidence right there.

Pops that's racist
You know Buck Owens used to beat up his wife Bonnie. so she left and started sing in Merle Haggard’s band.

I don't thionk it's fair to resent him if he's named the franchise player.
The guy did actually have a pretty good career.

I do.
Bucky is one of the greatest Cincinnati Red’s pitchers of all time (if not the greatest). Walters led the league with wins 3 times including 27 wins in 1939, 22 wins in 1940 and 23 wins in 1944.

I can't believe they haven't called this Cubs game!
I guess the tornado didn’t rip down Wrigley, but they did have to evacuate the fans. Anyway, it’s been at least 2 1/2 hours, but they haven’t called the game yet.

Please don't joke about tornados in Chicago
I lived through one and it was about as bad as you would expect. But, on second thought, nothing is so bad that it does not deserve some humor.

It was
this one. If you scan down in the article, you’ll find Oswego as the touchdown point for the F5. I was out on the football practice field at Oswego High for summer 2-a-days and we watched the funnel cloud come down (Fuck what that article says) everyone hauled ass into the school.

I witness report
the Reds won. I kinda felt like Bronson was struggling, he threw a shit ton of pitches. His control seemed off causing him to often pitch deep into counts. The game wasn’t particuarly interesting. Especially after the no-hitter was ended in the 5th. The drive home sucked.
