Cool
Rick Sweet seems like a really nice guy.
Though the Yankees writers think Dave Miley was robbed. They felt that, worthy as Sweet was, Miley achieved more, under more difficult circumstances.
And I didn’t know the Attorney General had been sent down…

I hope he put the proper spin on it
Red Sox farm system rules! Yankees shut out! What does this mean for the future of the AL East?

Prolly not much - New York usually goes out and buys whatever they need.
You can tell your uncle stuff that you could not tell your dad. That is kind of the role of an uncle. I feel very much like a father sometimes but sometimes I feel like a teammate.

Easier said than done
Nady has worked out pretty well so far, but Pudge is playing so poorly some fans are demanding the return of Chad Moeller. And Marte has been a disaster. I think I’d rather have Majewski.
I’m really amazed at the never-ending supply of young talent the Sox seem to pull out of their butts.

it's called being a competent organization that doesn't just try to buy their way out of all of their problems

I hope Boston is ready...
btw…Kotsay as a CF/LF for the Reds? Just throwing that out there…BoSox don’t need him going in to next year.
...because there's already someone posing as Jacob Brumfield

Can we have Rick Sweet managing the Reds?
Hey Dusty...Are you sure you're OK? You might need an MRI.

if he promises to only use guys that 'play the game the right way'
and of course run to their position

I wonder if they've met each other?
Dusty: What’s mine say?
Sweet: Dude…What’s mine say?
Dusty: Sweet…what’s mine say?

I’m more a hello man and a welcome man than a good-bye man. And to me Adam Dunn was more a person than a player.
