Good analysis
I’m more a hello man and a welcome man than a good-bye man. And to me Adam Dunn was more a person than a player.

Two of your players aren't even on the team
Also, since you don’t specify a year, I’m gonna assume you’re talking about 2000-never.

This is your fantasy team ?
You can tell your uncle stuff that you could not tell your dad. That is kind of the role of an uncle. I feel very much like a father sometimes but sometimes I feel like a teammate.

Masset
is not in your grand plan?
Michael: Now, the soldiers are paid to fight; the rebels aren't. Roth: What does that tell you? Michael: They can win.

i love that mesoraco is the starting catcher
but frazier has apparently been on the team for such a short amount of time that he hasnt yet earned a starting role. over keppinger.

What do you mean, "blank slate"?

Get a clue
Not going to happen, our market is too small, our fans are too fairweather, and our owner is too small town. It looks like we try, but in reality the Reds are only a slight step ahead of the Pirates as an organization. A joke of a franchise, with a stadium that has a boat in center field instead of getting a good showing of the river, and just enough ’attempt" at having a respectable team to trick enough fans into staying around so we dont become the Las Vegas Reds.

weak
there is a lil bit of power in that lineup, but that’s about it

Well
thanks for correcting the sarcasm…and I said just enough effort to NOT send us to Las Vegas, meaning we stay in Cincinnati, for the simple fact that torturing Reds fans is the only fad from the 90`s that has succeeded into the new millenium

I understood the sarcasm
but thought that the example was faulty.

Oh yeah I forgot one addition
C.C. Sabathia
Brent Jonathan Beck
by Brent Beck on Aug 14, 2008 6:25 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
well that's just a minor addition
so it’s probably ok that you forgot him
by chandrathan on Aug 14, 2008 6:28 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
yeah
Were totally going to get him, we just took Griffey and Dunn off the books and the rumors are already pointing to us being a major player taking a run at C.C… Im not joking, I honestly think we will have Sabathia on the Reds next year.

Um...
Keppinger at SS?
I love Kepp as much as anyone, but he’s not a starting SS.

Cordero isn’t an ideal closer. The guy blows to many games, plus i believe his career save rate is around 55-65%.
