He's had at least a hit and an RBI in each of the past 9 games, batting .378 with the 6 homers and 15 RBIs since an 0 for 7 night on August 2. Logan Parker was 3 for 4, Todd Frazier 1 for 4.
Low A: Zach Cozart was 3 for 5 with a homer in Dayton's 8-7 win. Mace Thurman struck out 7 in 4.1 innings of perfect relief, and Devin Mesoraco was 1 for 4.
Rookies: David Sappelt was 3 for 4 in Billings' 8-7 loss. ... Juan Duran was 2 for 4 in the G-Reds' 10-9 win, and Jonathan Correa, Elvin Silvestre and Cesar Colmenares were suspended 50 games for using steroids.
