Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Farmers only: Just so everyone knows, Danny Dorn has a .931 OPS

Danny Dorn
Dorn

Triple-A: Rob Mackowiak and Chris Dickerson homered and Paul Janish delivered the deciding double as the Bats won 5-3. Bobby Livingston had a solid start, striking out 7 and leaving in the 7th with a 3-1 lead before Carlos Fisher allowed 2 inherited runners to score.

Todd Frazier
Frazier

Double-A: Danny Dorn homered (15) in Chattanooga's 6-1 win. Dorn was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and is now putting up .271/.366/.564/.931 in Double-A. This guy was a 32nd-rounder in Drew Stubbs' draft. Sean Henry had 2 doubles and an RBI, and Chris Valaika, Justin Turner and Stubbs all went 1 for 4. Robert Manuel struck out 2 in his scoreless inning. He might be 25, but check out his stats. They impress.

High A: Todd Frazier was 2 for 4 with a homer in Sarasota's 5-4 loss. Frazier has 15 homers this year, 8 in 67 games for the S-Reds. Logan Parker added a homer, his 2nd for Sarasota and 11th this season.

Low A: Zach Cozart continues to hit, going 2 for 5 in Dayton's 7-4 loss. Neftali Soto had a double, and Jeremy Horst struck out 4 in 4 innings of relief.

Rookies: Billings scrapped together just 3 hits in a 4-1 loss. ... The GCL Reds had no pitcher go more than 1.1 innings and lost 6-3.

Dorn has really flourished since being selected 15th in the prestigious Red Reporter prospect rankings. In the 10 games since then, he’s put up .324/.432/.784/1.216 with 5 homers.

why isn't Dorn in Louisville?

Fucking find a place for him. This team is about to lose one, maybe two outfielders. Spending a month in AAA would help give the Reds some answers about Dorn’s abilities.

I think we've seen about all we need to from Dickerson

what they should do is release Patterson, promote Dickerson to MLB and promote Dorn to AAA.
