Reds interested in A's relief pitcher Houston Street !
Huston Street gains more suitors
Huston Street | Athletics | Interested: Dodgers? Mets? Reds?
Huston Street, who is currently being scouted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, is apparently now drawing interest from the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets , the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
As reported on ESPN.coms "MLB Rumor Central"
With the need for a deeper bullpen I am diggin' this idea! Street and Coco would be a nasty duo to have waiting in reserve, and yes, I am talkin' bout' some playoffs!

Uhh... Brent Jonathan....
Not to throw a damper on your little party here… but
1. If the Reds trade Dunn, they aren’t going to get a player as good as Street back.
2. If the Reds trade Dunn, they aren’t going to have enough offense to make the playoffs.
3. The acquisition of Huston Street is not going to provide the requisite wins it’ll take for the Reds to get back into contention for some kind of playoff spot.
4. The Reds aren’t going to make the playoffs this year.
I can’t think of any more right now, but yeah, you get my idea.

That was the reports that went out earlier.
Still though, Huston Street isn’t going to bring this team over the proverbial hump into contention, and it’s not going to get them past the Cubs and Brew Crew in the division.

You know who else is doing a great job at ESPN?
The guy who hired Molly Qerim. That’s who.

Yeah... Encarnacion's been dead weight lately
better trade our best pitcher of the last month+ for a replacement for EdE…
I got 99 problems but a job ain't one.
Fields also plays OF
is young, and possibly on the block
oh wait . Arroyo was our best pitcher last month? now would be an absolutly awful time to trade him!

You know what else?
How well do you really know Huston Street? Let me tell you something. There’s a reason the Reds aren’t interested in Huston Street. Did you know that he doesn’t even like baseball? Did you know that Huston Street doesn’t have a passion for the game? Let me just say that the Reds know a little bit more about Huston Street than the average fan. And I can tell you that Reds fans would not be very happy with a guy like Huston Street.
Just sayin.
