This obvious lineup change needs to be made..

With two moves, I would be fairly satisfied with this lineup. Well...not really but it would be somewhat more acceptable.

CF Bruce

SS Keppinger

LF Dunn

3B Encarnacion

RF Griffey Jr.

2B Phillips

1B Votto

C Ross

Ideally I would want Hairston in there at SS and leading off, but he's hurt...also Votto should be higher up in the order but this is being semi-realistic. Encarnacion and Dunn just flat out HAVE to be our 3 and 4 hitters the way they are swinging the bat right now.

if Griffey ain't 3

hes gotta be in 3-4-5. So that means 3-5 = EdE, Griff, Phillips or Dunn, EdE, Griff.

I think putting Griffey at 3rd would be nice. Or maybe we’re just playing DustyOdds, Griffey’s gonna heat up soon, and in order to get to career averages, is gonna have a MONSTROUS 55 games

Keppinger is not hitting very well these days

and should almost certainly not be hitting second. I’d much rather see EdE there, at least until Keppinger picks things back up.

I'm not having even a mediocre year.

Keppinger wouldn't be..

in the lineup if Hairston were healthy. Bruce would be 2nd probably

I tried to be semi-realistic

We all know the CF has to lead off and the SS has to bat 2nd.

It’s the last night of the free extra innings. Hope to see someone else there.

I know it isn't statistically sound but I would like to see how BP would react to leading off

A bit more discipline at the beginning of the game would be required. But he’s an agressive batter and has some pop. And he can steal a base or take two on the shift…and score from 1st on a long single.

2B Phillips

CF Bruce

3B Encarnacion

LF Dunn

RF Griffey Jr.

SS Keppinger

1B Votto

C Ross

I think that EdE would get even more good pitches to hit if he were in front of Dunn. Adam's gonna see about the same pitches no matter where he's at in the order and he has such excellent discipline to stay with the mechanics and AB approach which has gotten him where he is.

Damn comment got cut off - EdE would get more good pitches to hit batting in front of Dunn.

No matter where Donkey is in the order his approach and Mechanics remain pretty constant.

how did the "dunn in the 2-hole" experiment work this year?

I know its been bandied about a bit, bud didn’t it fail pretty epically this time around? If not, then there goes a Hairston-Dunn-EdE trio that would be pretty mean.

Come on.

You could have worded it better than “Dunn in the 2-hole”, couldn’t you?

better to get reamed then to have someone rip a new one

I was running off to work and wanted to get my thoughts down quickly. I wasn’t thinking about how I would come across. At least, that’s what she said.

I don't know

he only batted there 6 times and put up a .261/.393/.565 line. The Reds scored 5, 5, 0,1,6,1 in his six starts there. So basically, it doesn’t matter much.

It's a lousy night to be an atheist!
