Farmers only: Cumberland stays sharp
Triple-A: Shaun Cumberland went 3 for 4 with a triple in the Bats' 6-1 win over Charlotte. Matt Maloney started the game but left after one batter due to an oblique strain. Rob Mackowiak added a homer, and he's sporting a .951 OPS since joining Louisville. Can't be too long before we see him in a Reds uni.
Double-A: Danny Dorn (who had 2 homers in an 8-7 loss on Wednesday) singled in the go-ahead run in the 10th as the Lookouts won 3-2. Sean Henry hit his eighth homer for Chattanooga, and Sean Watson struck out the side in order in the 6th. Chris Valaika was 1 for 3 and is now batting .299.
High A: Juan Francisco was 3 for 5 with a triple and 4 RBIs as Sarasota rolled 10-2. Todd Frazier was 2 for 4 to push his average up to .300. And a nice start by Alexander Smit, who might have been overlooked in the prospect rankings.
Rookies: Tony Brown hit his 7th homer in 24 games as Billings won 9-3. That matches his total from last season, his first after being drafted in the 23rd round in 2006 out of powerhouse Okaloosa-Walton College. David Sappelt and Tyler Stovall also doubled, and Alex Buchholz was 1 for 3. ... The Dominican Reds beat the D-Reds-D-Backs 10-8.

Sean Watson
I think you had Watson in just the right place in your rankings. With his frame I think he will find decent control soon. It could be a great Reds bullpen.

Agreed!
I’m seeing it again this weekend in a regular theater, and then sometime in the next couple weeks at the IMAX. It’s pretty cool how they shot some action sequences using IMAX cameras. I also loved all the on-location shooting. It made the movie that much more realistic.

On-location shooting?
In Gotham City?
P.S. Not sure how big a comics nerd you are (I myself am a fairly large one), but did you have any thoughts about the Watchmen trailer?

Well Chicago was a nice stand-in
And I’m a huge Watchmen nerd. I got the Absolute Watchmen a couple years ago for Xmas. I had heard the Watchmen trailer was going to be shown, so I did the nerdy thing I always do with movies I really want to see: I closed my eyes, plugged my ears and went “La-la-la-la-la.” So I don’t have an opinion on the trailer, although there was quite a bit of clapping for it in my theater.

I couldn't make the midnight showing
It really bothered me, and I think I have to turn in my geek card (oh wait, I’m doing internet-baseball-blogging. I’m good).
That movie had one of the best villain performances ever… and it was completely overshadowed by Heath Ledger as the Joker.
