Lousy Brewers. First Ryan Braun steals Griffey's All-Star spot, then Sheets is named the starting pitcher over the more deserving Edinson Volquez.

Ah well. I can't be too mad. Griffey certainly didn't deserve his spot (though Dunn is a better choice than Braun), and I'm okay with Volquez pitching only an inning at most in a meaningless game (visions of the 18 inning nightmare in San Diego are dancing in my head). Apparently Dusty is okay with this too. It says he called Clint Hurdle, the NL manager, and after their talk it was decided that someone other than Volquez should start.

I hope Ben Sheets blows a rotator cuff.
