Game 95: Reds at Brewers
Cincinnati Reds @ Milwaukee Brewers
|
|
|
You know what would be nice? A win today so we can sit back and watch Bailey v. CC tomorrow with a series win already under our belt. McClung's having a pretty good year so even with Volquez on the mound a win won't be easy. But the matchup definitely favors the Reds - as long as the offense doesn't decide to sit this one out.
It was a fun game last night and I'm looking forward to another fun one tonight. Keep thinking lucky, bitches!

I like how the Brewers burned almost 2 innings of Torres last night!
He won’t be much tonight (or perhaps tomorrow)!

big day for me. along with tony snow, Bobby Murcer died.

Rest in peace, Bobby
YES is having wall-to-wall coverage, including interviews with Yankees staff and players. Girardi was nearly in tears.
I never saw Bobby play, but he was one of my favorite announcers. Not least because he was a big fan of Bubba Crosby. He wanted Bubba to be the Yankees’ CFer. Even after Bubba was DFA’d and Damon had a great first season with the Yankees, Murcer said on the air that he wanted Bubba, not Damon.

He's not that bad this year
But career-wise, it’s downright Freel-like.
And maybe it’s just sample size, but it seems like he gets picked off a lot, too.

Dusty attributed Dunn's home runs tonight to "being aggressive"
And also because he sat him yesterday. In other news, I kind of hate Dusty.
