Triple-A: Ramon Ramirez struck out 7 in 7 innings -- allowing 3 hits -- in Louisville's 1-0 win. B.J. Szymanski's sac fly in the 9th was the run.

Double-A: Chris Valaika and Justin Turner homered, but Chattanooga lost 10-3. Valaika has 15 HRs on the year, tied with Brandon Waring for tops in the Reds' system. Ben Jukich couldn't get through the 5th, and Sean Watson has 4 strikeouts and a walk in 1.2 innings. His insane splits continue: 36 IP, 52K, 29BB, 6.25 ERA in Sarasota and Chattanooga.

High A: Bobby Livingston's rehab continued in Sarasota's 3-1 win. Livingston struck out 7 in 6.2 innings, scattering 8 hits. Ramon Geronmino (0.69 ERA) got his 11th save. He hasn't allowed an earned run in more than a month.

Low A: Jolbert Cabrera was 3 for 4 in his rehab stint with a triple and 3 RBIs in Dayton's 8-2 win. Neftali Soto was 0 for 4.

Rookies: Alex Buchholz was 2 for 3 with a double, a walk and 2 runs in Billings' 4-3 win. Aguido Gonzalez struck out 4 to get the save and hasn't given up an earned run in 10 appearances this year. ... The G-Reds got spanked 8-2. ... Jose Marizan struck out 7 in 5 innings in the D-Reds' 2-0 loss.
