Farmers only, the Neftali Soto version: Abridged
Homer Bailey gave up 10 hits and 4 runs (3 earned) in 8 innings, but Louisville lost 4-1. Homer struck out 7, and manager Rick Sweet called it a 'great start.' Jeff Keppinger didn't play because he was on a plane to New York to join the big boys. ... Ben Jukich struck out 6 in 7 innings in Chattanooga's 4-3 win. Carlos Fisher got his 6th save and has his ERA down to 3.76. ... Josh Fogg allowed 12 hits yet somehow managed to get the win for Sarasota. ... Zach Cozart had 2 homers in Dayton's 6-0 win. Neftali Soto went 4 for 5 with a triple and a homer (his 4th in his first 5 games!) in Billings' 4-3 loss. Soto -- our 3rd-round pick last year and our No. 14 prospect according to Baseball America -- had only 2 homers last season in 40 games in the Gulf Coast League, although he broke Juan Gonzalez's youth home run record in Puerto Rico, so his power should not be a surprise. He could not be amid a hotter start to his season. He's only 19 years old. ... $2 million boy Juan Duran went 0 for 4 for the Dominican Summer League Reds.

I think they were happy Homer didn't nibble, no walks
With that subpar velocity, he would have been killed in the majors…..................but up his velocity back to 94-97 and he would have had a complete game shutout with 12k’s.
Lets see if they can figure it out and what concessions are made(if they are made) in getting back his velocity.
