PrintJust a question? The rumor is that Cleveland may designate him for assignment. Obviously, he has not done anything to prove his "top prospect" status from only a couple of years ago. Yet, maybe a change of scenery and patience would help. Many have suggested put EE in left field if Dunn is traded.
From what I've heard, he has really started to lose confidence because of the pressure on him. Right now, we're horrible.......how much pressure could he feel?
Anyway, I'm not suggesting we do this. I'm asking for opinions.

He’s only 24 or so, but he’s been Castro-esque at the plate.
FWIW, I saw him play 2 AAA games last season. His swing was long and he looked about 25 pounds overweight. His range at 3B looked very limited
I would be very surprised if he isn’t a total bust.

a bust that is. Like I said, I really don’t have an opinion on this. Just thought it was semi-interesting to consider.
If we can get him on a minor league deal
without having to have him on the 40 man, I would say yes, give him a shot to play and regain value at AAA. But I am pretty sure he is out of options and someone desperate for infield help (LAD, OAK, SD, BAL, TEX) would claim him.

I realize he isn’t Billy Beane, and his roster construction could be puzzling but I still thought he was pretty decent.
