From the Wik.
Xavier McDaniel made his motion picture debut in 1992 when he made a brief cameo in the film Singles. In that movie, McDaniel appears in a “breaking the fourth wall” fantasy sequence when Campbell Scott begins thinking about the basketball pro while Scott is having an intimate romantic interlude. McDaniel comically tells Campbell Scott’s character, “Steve, don’t cum yet.”

"Outlaw, man! We salute you!"

From wiki:

The rhombus-shaped ‘One-percenter’ patch is also used, displaying ‘1%’, in red on a white background with a red merrowed border (refer to image at right, top). The term “one-percenter” is a response to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) comment on the Hollister incident, in which the AMA stated that 99% of motorcyclists were law-abiding citizens and the last 1% were outlaws.

With limited TV and being far enough away that I didn’t see enough print coverage, I thought the Mets were a gift from the god as a kid. The 90 WS turned me onto the Reds since they were ‘local’, and it’s been a wild ride since.

TBS made the Braves the team I rooted for a lot of my childhood, even in Iowa (Cubs/Sox country). My friends and I would play in the backyard, and we always played Braves vs. Sox because they were the only teams we knew the full lineups to.

I think there's valid comparisons to be made with Griffey

Sweet stroke, more dongs than most in their generation, and their appeal is almost entirely nostalgic these days. Trying to get by on the skills of their youth is just getting them fucked.

by Brendanukkah on May 21, 2008 11:54 PM EDT up reply actions

I think it's safe to say at this point

that Dusty does not see lineups in terms of generating at bats.

Curse and drat, he's outmaneuvered us.

Pitch Count

Who thinks Dusty goes for 120+ with Cueto?

I don't see this working out here

Everything that Dusty touches always works out well. For the other team.

Baseball logic ?

With a runner on third and a guy at first with two outs, is it acceptable to try to pick the runner off?

I don't know if that was Cueto's doing.

Does Dusty call pickoffs from the dugout?

i dont think people are turning on him

but they have every right to mention that that was a bonehead mistake.

I think some AAA time might do Cueto some good.

Not that we have a suitable replacement, but hey, it would at least get him away from Dusty for a few starts.
