Reminder...

The Reds actually have Corey Patterson and he’s actually leading off.

This is actually happening.

Curse and drat, he's outmaneuvered us.

by Man Mountain on May 21, 2008 9:41 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

For as much as Patterson, Griffey, and Phillips are untouchable anchors

Baker kind of yanks Dunn, Edwin, and Votto around the order, seemingly willy-nilly.

by Brendanukkah on May 21, 2008 9:43 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Grif's been hitting better recently

Patterson is not an answer
Jerry Jr. Should be on the bench as a utility player
Bat Grif 2nd, EdE 3rd, Jannish 8th…..Oh well
And remember the Reds have Dusty Baker and he’s actually leading off (see next post)

no

just gut instinct on that, but i think Dusty has Bako holding the kids’ hands so far this year.

Yeah

But Cueto played it off like his crotched itched while trying to go to sleep.

DC United lost to Toronto FC for the first time ever tonight

DC is currently in last place in the Eastern Conference by a lot. Since they were supposed to be the team I root for that wins things, we’ll have to go to the backup plan. Come on, you Reds! Beat these Dodgers and score some runs for Cueto!

by Brendanukkah on May 21, 2008 9:36 PM EDT   0 recs

I think Dusty uses a strategy that i use in MLB 2k7

Bench all your good players, sim through a season so you get some kick ass draft picks. DRAFT PIIIIIICKKSS, i lovem, Go Dusty!

Apparently the Jock is in LA as well

Fay said that Jock said he talked to Bruce and said “soon”. Fay thinks that we will see Bruce in June

why call him the Jock, i like the Kitty better

those are the only ones worth buying

The last few years of undergrad I got Lisa Frank folders for shits and giggles. Had some good ones: unicorns, polar bears, etc.

by johnny cueto thinks we're sellouts on May 21, 2008 9:53 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Why does he think this?

Because “June” rhymes with “soon”?

by Brendanukkah on May 21, 2008 9:44 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

This can't be...

There is no way Fay can spell and pronounce those two words. Not in the same sentence anyway.

by Bill Doran on May 21, 2008 9:52 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

I think Bruce

will be up either Memorial Day (an off day), or next Tuesday before the Pirates game. Way to juice some ticket sales for a crappy series against the Pirates.

by cesarhernandez on May 21, 2008 9:49 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

I get it.

Because “juice” rhymes with “Bruce.”

by Gray on May 21, 2008 9:50 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Actually the Fay predicts

that Bruce will be called up after the Reds return to Cincy…that could mean May 25 or 26

by cesarhernandez on May 21, 2008 9:52 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

im a fool

it still surprises me to see the likes of Corey F. Patterson leading off. i mean, i just cant imagine anyone being so stupid as Dusty is, running him out there time after time. i just wonder if im the only one. does anyone, ANYone, in that clubhouse walk up to Dusty and say, “WTF dude? CoPat is a loser.” and it will still surprise me when he ends up on this list.

Somebody take a guess....

What is Patterson’s OBP since April 9th when he went 3-fer-5 and hit his crazy ass fourth home run in the first week of the season?
