dumb law
tomorrow KY isnt selling booze. sales shut down in just over an hour until the polls close.
archaic.
rumor is it stems from the days of buying votes with bottles of bourbon. i think that is a wonderful practice!!!

I spent 18 years of my life in Kentucky

i’d clearly never live in a county that was dry on Sunday’s. only thing that makes the Bengals digestible is overconsumption…

Indiana has the same law
And I decided to get a little toasted at home before I went and voted a couple of weeks ago. Just to stick it to them. And because I had the day off, and I wanted to get toasted.

If we keep this up, we may see them soon.

You mean the one where the King of Nepal or something
ended up pardoning them? I thought it was pretty interesting, who knows how true, though. I’m sure the story has gotten more interesting each time he’s told it at a bar.

Yeah. That's the one.
The show was really well done. It didn’t need to be a full GD hour, but it was compelling. I don’t usually get sucked in by those shows but that one got me.
You may be right about the stretchin’ o’ the truth.

Yeah, the part about stretching the truth
Would seem to me to be his painting of himself as “innocent.” Like, he was just a British dude traveling the world and got snookered into trying to make a quick buck. I’d bet it’s not the first time he was involved in shady dealings of some sort.
I got sucked in for the whole hour too, though, after just randomly flipping by.

I told a buddy when Kepp went down that Dunn can carry this team for a while… I wasn’t sure I believed it when I said it, but wow!
