Who's to blame for the Phillies' struggles? Bar-right-arrows

How about Holliday?

Per MLBTradeRumors, Holliday could be moved.

Do you think this is just the kind of splash Jocketty would look to make? With Dunn and Griffey gone by next year, (more than likely) we would need an impact bat in LF. (Bruce has RF covered)

The combo of Holliday and Bruce could easily be the best in the NL... but we'd more than likely need to pay a steep price in prospects. Would you be willing to part with Bailey and a host of others?

Thoughts?

Uh

I’d like i just fine, as long as the prospects going aren’t named Bruce, Bailey, or Thompson.

i would offer arroyo, thompson and fropperstonson

assuming we can sign him long-term. if that’s not enough, toss in janish. If that’s not enough, then we’re not getting him.

And Fogg

didn’t they want Fogg back?

Why would they want Janish?

They just locked up the vastly superior Tulo long term, and Janish is kind of not that good if he doesn’t have his SS defense to fall back on.

The Rockies would be looking at arms, and they probably would want to start dicussions at Bailey/Thompson.

I'd do either/or

Perhaps Bailey/Thompson, Frazier, and a lower level pitching prospect?

yeah, i was just thinking about our second-tier prospects

and i forgot about fogg. How about arroyo, thompson and fogg? that probably doesnt get it done i guess. I would consider homer and fogg or something like that. homer, thompson and fogg would probably unnecessarily decimate our organizational pitching.

i don't care what we give for holliday

just as long as we’ve got enough left to get carl crawford
