isn't some of the 9th inning Dusty's fault?
this isn’t the first time Lincoln has thrown a good inning and was awful in his second inning. That guy has an arm being held togeather by gritts. I think Lincoln should be considered a one inning reliever. He isn’t a bad 7th inning guy, or late inning guy when the team is down by 3 and wants to keep it from getting out of hand. He just can’t be extended.

Someone mentioned a few games ago that ESPN has instant highlights on their site.
Is that true? I can’t find them. Where are they?

MLB.com
has instant highlights. In Gameday. Click on the “video” tab. (Above the box score.)

Looks like they aren't going to show it. It has the Marlins top half of the ninth but nothing after that.

yeah, they still have Cody Ross' homer up as "new video"
They’ll put it up eventually, probably when the game story goes up.

Farney kneed him in the nose pretty good! Also threw in a couple of upper-cuts!

I think that kick to the face is what gave Janish a bloody nose.

Patience at the plate
That was a great hit. I just hope Janish settles down a bit – he had 5 pitches and swung at all of ‘em… he’s going to be a good utility player soon.

Heck....
....at least we won. What a pity Lincoln was blown away. Now he has an ERA approaching a jetliner (and only a career ERA of 5.28). Great investment there.
