HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Mom, you mean so much to us that we wanted to show our love, adimiration and appreciation for you by hitting the crap out of the damn baseabll this week and we wanted to do it in a way that stood out from all other MLB teams . We were facing some very expensive built-for-the-postseason pitching staffs but we said, what the hell, let's do it for Mom!
Share your love for any mothers in your lives and share your love for the Reds' hot offense below...

Mom, I love ya! (Same for my Mom-in-Law and my babies' Mama!)
Adam Dunn loves him mother but not as much as Jeff Keppinger loves his.
Of course, Farney and Freel love their mother even more than that.

And we all know about the troubles that Paul and Mrs. Bako have had in the past...
..but right now things are looking up for them, too.

I just yelled Happy Mother's Day up to my mom
She told me to shut up cause she was watching her stories. She also asked when I was gonna finally go out and meet a girl for once. I love my mom. She’s such a kidder.

my mom taught me about baseball
when i was little the night games were passed my bedtime, and my dad umpires high school and adult softball on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the summer, so I watched baseball with my Mom. We watched a lot of Braves games togeather when I was little. Our cable company didn’t pick up Fox Sports until 1998 or 1999, so I only have 45 telivised Reds games a season when I was young, but TBS showed almost every Braves game. Plus she liked bad teams so the Braves pretty made the 70s and 80s for here.

I could just be relying on anecdotal evidence to have come to this conclusion..
..but something about the 70’s and 80’s “Superstation” Braves (or perhaps the telecasts themsleves) must have somehow appealed to a lot of women. I know of quite a few middle-aged and elderly women who watched the Braves then and they were not good teams.
