duke would be stupid to not go after him when coach k steps down.

i know dawkins is kinda promised the job, but pitino and duke seem like a perfect fit.

Louisville isn't that good of a job. it's better than it used to be because they are in the big east, but pitino is always looking for bigger and better things. I just don't think he has or will ever change.

Yep.

Aaron pitched well, but Hamels was better. RR's favorite CP hit the bomb in the 8th to tie it and Bako singled to win it.

And keep in mind, we're a week and a half into the season. And wins are an irrelevant stat anyways for pitchers. The only thing that matters is that we're 5-4 right now, and the bats are starting to wake up.

The only game I've made it out to this year was the infamous Fogg debut, where 1 waited (read: drank) through a 90 minute rain delay, and the people I were with wanted to leave after the 5th inning because it was too cold.

JD is probably having a baby right now.
Corey Patterson is a home run hitting machine.
Caleb is recovering from a heart attack, but he's back to blogging.
EdE is benched and he's still not a clutch hitter.

Congrats on being even more grandfatherly.
