The transitive property is infallible

i'm not 100 percent sure...

but i don't think that's the transitive property

arrggh...

I was thinking simpler than that...

a + b = c is the same as b + a = c

I got a 36 in math on my act, and I just messed up something learned in first grade...

That's commutativity, my friend.

Eh, it may be

But you'd be surprised how often you run into that stuff in the higher levels of math, especially in the theoretical stuff.

he won't go anywhere

he'll finish his career in Louisville. He's a pretty big fan of the state

by Blue on Apr 9, 2008 11:44 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

i respectfully disagree

he'll follow the money

and as soon as a bigger job comes open he'll jump on it.

well

the only place that would be is the NBA. The bigger colleges probably wouldn't offer him the job because of his tendency to leave. Anything else would be a lateral move.

by Blue on Apr 9, 2008 11:50 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

to me...

duke would be stupid to not go after him when coach k steps down.

i know dawkins is kinda promised the job, but pitino and duke seem like a perfect fit.

Louisville isn't that good of a job. it's better than it used to be because they are in the big east, but pitino is always looking for bigger and better things. I just don't think he has or will ever change.

by chandrathan on Apr 9, 2008 11:54 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

duke

duke would totally NOT be Pitino's style, IMO. He has no experience with the kind of preppies he'd have to coach and recruit there.

you know the story

about Adolph Rupp walking up to a woman with front row seats at a game and asked her why there were two empty seats next to her? She said "well, my husband died"

Rupp replied "That explains one, what about the other one?"

The woman said "The other one belongs to my son. He's at the funeral."

by chandrathan on Apr 9, 2008 11:34 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yep.

Aaron pitched well, but Hamels was better. RR's favorite CP hit the bomb in the 8th to tie it and Bako singled to win it.

And keep in mind, we're a week and a half into the season. And wins are an irrelevant stat anyways for pitchers. The only thing that matters is that we're 5-4 right now, and the bats are starting to wake up.

At least you saw good games.

The only game I've made it out to this year was the infamous Fogg debut, where 1 waited (read: drank) through a 90 minute rain delay, and the people I were with wanted to leave after the 5th inning because it was too cold.
