I wasn't venting about Burton coming in.
I just think it was stupid to waste Affeldt for one batter when Burton absolutely murders lefties. It's not a big deal, but it's something Dusty should know. One of my big frustrations with Narron was that he didn't play matchups, he just made sure that his pitcher threw with the same hand that the batter hit with, without regard to the individuals involved. Doesn't look like Dusty's going to do any better.

And, in that situation, it's doubly stupid
because now you have to pinch hit after you burned Burton for 1 AB against a career .252/.288/.432 hitter. Again, not a huge deal, just a big pet peeve of mine.

although he does tend to walk righties a lot less, for some reason. the ops is only a 34-point difference, though.
