Brantley eating crow on FSN
I just got done watching Jeff Brantley dog EE on a replay of Wednesdays game right before he hit his walk-off. "This guy is not a CLUTCH hitter, he is not clutch" then boom EE ends the game with a walkoff homerun. And Brennamen says is that clutch for you. I hate bashing and Brantley hasn't gotten to the stage where he can be that open to judge like Marty does.
Now on a different topic, WTF is FSN doing advertising Reds games and then playing the Cavs. I thought Sportstime Ohio was for Cleveland and FSN for Cincy. Can anyone clarify.

One thing I noticed from the replay
Encarnacion hit the ball, took a half a step like he wanted to watch it, then took off running. I wonder if the Dusty/Valentine thing had something to do with that.

Vis a vis
Reds, Cavs, STO,and FSN...
It depends on which flavor of FSN you are watching. If you are not in Cincinnati (or SW Ohio), you are likely getting FSN Ohio, which tends to be more evenly weighted toward showing other sports...like the time this spring where they showed a freaking minor league hockey all-star game instead of a long awaited Reds Replay that had been advertised. FSN is a rights holder for the Reds, BJs, and Cavs.
STO is a channel by, for, and of the Cleveland Indians. They are not rights holders for the NBA, so they will not be showing Cavs games. Any other sports they show other than the Indians is purely coincidental.
But I must say that I greatly appreciated them getting the Tribe the hell off my FSN so I can watch games on the proper channel here in Columbus and not the stupid preempt channel.

There is a funny thing that happens here in SE Ohio
and maybe not anywhere else but, there is one channel that just shows random stuff. The networks change all the time on it. When Cavs are on it normally will put the Reds on this channel, not always but it happens. If you cable provider has such a mystery channel I'd check it out next time and cross your fingers.

It was such a drag to have to listen
to tHOm and clownboy blab and argue at such a pivotal point in the game. God, I wish they'd shut up and let the moment take care of itself, instead of acting like two know it all fans. AND I even liked clownboy last year. tHom is having a damaging effect on him.

The boys over at FJM have some fun
with the situation regarding EE and Dusty here.

Excellent
But I want to know why the Enquirer hasn't picked this up. It's all fine and dandy if us basement-dwellers are pointing and laughing at Brantley, but I want a public tar-and-feathering.
Good to hear Marty was at least giving Brantley a hard time about it.

I just re-ran the clip of EdE's HR
I've gotten jaded what with all the negativity spouted by sMarty and Clownboy - I must admit on relistening I gotta give tHom his due for not giving up on Double E. Now if He'd just say less and keep positive I might begin to like him a little. It was nice to hear some passion and excitement about the Reds by an announcer.

Speaking of Crow
I found out last night that my tennis coach's nephew (actually his wife's nephew) is Aaron Crow at Missouri. Can you imagine how exciting this period of time has to be for the family?
Anyway, I doubt this gets me any inside scoop. But it may get me to follow his season more. He's currently #3 on BA's college prospect rankings.
