scary thought
Considering that Dusty kept putting Bako in the lineup because his arm is supposedly so much better than Valentin’s.

eh perhaps
but he also pitched against a very weak offensive team. I still can’t imagine at this rate he will be in the rotation for long.
you think a WHIP of 1.20 is bad?
i was pleased with him. There were so many bloops. He gave up a broken bat RBI hit i think. That is unlucky.

is that what I said?
chill out buddy. The fact remains that the giants are a pretty weak hitting team. They are tied with San Diego for fewest runs scored in the NL, they are last in OBP, 14th in average and slugging pct. Imagine Belisle facing the Cubs and I think you’ll see that he’s not likely to fare well.
Belisle only gave up 4 hits but he also gave up a homer and a triple too, so WHIP isn’t the only stat out there.
i agree with this
and id like to see affeldt get another shot to start, hes been doing well lately, and i dont think it would hut to give him a chance.
And on my RR fantasy team tonight
Eugenio Velez/Fred Lewis
5/9 5R 1HR 4RBI 1SB and a splashdown
That’s why you always want to have the top of the Giants order on your team.
