PrintArroyo was only good for one year because nobody had faced him before.. we need to get the pretty boy out of our rotation so that we can make room for someone that could actually have a successful career and not throw eighty mile per hour fast balls and a hanging breaking ball....im not sayin we have a lot of options to go with here.. but i would much rather have belisle or homer bailey pitching to get some work in... arroyo is never going to get better than he is now.. and his commercials make me sick to my sotmach

but I think he’s either injured or is developing a “dead arm”. Of course, he could just be doing something mechanically different, but I wouldn’t be able to identify that. So, I’ll start spreading rumors that he is hurt. :)

seeing arroyo the past few times out
it looks like everything he has is flat. the curveball is hanging way too often, and the fastball, when he uses it (which aint been much so far), has lost a few ticks and some movement. i dont know what it is. in fact, i dont even know if what im saying here is accurate, as im really not an expert. alls i know for sure is that he has been ineffective. but jesus christ, its been 4-5 starts. give the man a break. that little feeling in your sotmach is not panic, its probably just hunger. head on over to B-Dubs and get some wings and a light beer.

I saw him at GABP wednesday Charles - everything you say about him was true last night.
He could not get his stuff to work and relied on a lot of changes in the speed of his pitches. Didn’t work – it was worrisome to say the least.

yeah i agree with scrabbles
i really dont think its time to panic and trade arroyo. He did this last year then got a day off and came back like the arroyo when know. I think a day off would do him good, and now that ross is back i think he will start to do better.
