New Blog: Five For Howling - for Coyotes fans Bar-right-arrows

Reds set the baby free, beat Cubs 9-2

Finally. We got to see the Votto we've been waiting for all year, Griffey hit No. 596 and Volquez had what I consider a terrific outing. A lot of the balls were very questionable, and I think with a more liberal strike zone he could have had 12 strikeouts. And he missed correctly, biting just low or just outside with pitches that really weren't hittable. Four walks in five innings is way too many, but I'm willing to look past them for the reasons I stated.

One out of six is bad. Lets see if we cant take a couple from the Crew.

Admin note: Trolls happen, unfortunately. We'll do everything we can to root them out, but for the time being, don't feed the bears.

Maybe...

Griffey will go off this weekend and I can see him hit 600 Tuesday night?

if it is like when he closed in on 500

he will stall out around 498 home runs, and it took him a couple of weeks to get to 500.

game thread length

Why do you move to a new thread after 200 comments? I’ve noticed bleedcubbieblue going 600 comments per thread. Are the different blogs on different servers?

the site gets pretty slow after 200 comments

and not everyone has “State of the Art” computers. so we start a new one every 200 or so comments to keep things running smoothly

In the end, life and business are about human connections. And computers are about trying to murder you in a lake. And to me the choice is easy.

And as previously stated..

..our threads pretty quickly get weighed down with too much irony.

And Roseanne Barr .gifs

I have a state of the art computer

and broadband, and long threads are still so slow they’re pretty much impossible. Dunno if it’s my ISP or what, but my computers just don’t get along with the new SBNation.
