I can't get over how bad Corey Patterson has been playing
Making more sense why the Cubs and Orioles gave up on him. Also explains a lot about why the Reds were able to sign him late in spring training—> nobody really wanted him. He could become another Josh Hamilton, but he has been brutal batting leadoff.
He could become another #7 hitter

And really, did anyone actually expect to win this one? Fogg vs. Zambrano wasn’t a matchup I was counting on winning.

The reds need to be aggressive in all honesty…they need to make moves(no to Piazza). Anything they do, and they will do something soon…will be a step in the right direction. The reds will be fine….lots of pieces to the puzzle are missing that the reds will need to compete in the central, much less win the division out right. Best case right now is the Wild Card and that is going…going…..almost gone. Carl Linder would take your advice….thank god for Mr. Castellini.
