Now that I think about it

I remember Marty saying yesterday that Griffey wouldn't be playing in either of the last 2 games of the Spring. Not sure why CTR has him in the lineup if that was true.

Don't know for sure

But possibly to give Cabrera one more look. Griffey's making the team and Cabrera's on the bubble. Might as well give him one more chance to make the argument that he should survive the cut.

Or maybe Griffey didn't want to make the trip (either to the opposing stadium or out of the dugout - don't know where they're playing today).

Nothing wrong with Kepp

He plays the game the right way (wears his socks high, makes good contact, enjoys sunscreen and the Glenn Miller Orchestra), and makes a great utility guy/man off the bench.
