Futures Games Announced
From reds.com:
The Cincinnati Reds will get a look at the future as they prepare for the 2009 season with one last tuneup on April 4 in Dayton, Ohio, against their top Minor League prospects. The Reds will play a team consisting of players from the Triple-A, Double-A and Class A levels at Fifth Third Field, home of the Class A Dayton Dragons, prior to the start of the regular season.
They'll play a futures game the day before in Zebulon NC, home of the new AA affiliate.
Doug has a write-up and lists his starting lineup. He also notes that Juan Francisco is hitting well down in the DR winter leagues and even drawing a walk now and then.

Tickets are hard to get at Fifth-Third Field even when it's just the Dragons playing
Good luck. Maybe you should just try for lawn seats.

actually
you can get a lot of tickets for almost all games on ebay. They generally don’t cost anymore than face value.

no
just trying to be helpful. I never went to a Dragons game until last summer, because they sold out. I decided to check on ebay, and found tickets for almost every game at face value or less. Apparently one of the reasons the Dragons sell out is they sell alot of season tickets to corporations and what not, and the tickets that they don’t use go up for sell. You will notice when you are at Dragons games, that despite the “sell out” there are a lot of empty seats.

that's how it is in Scranton
They’re always sold out, at least in the lower deck, because of the season tickets. When you go to the game, there’s nobody in the seats.
I’ve taken to showing up early and standing near the curb in front of the ticket booth. There’s usually someone giving away tickets there. Not just one or two – stacks of tickets.
