Dumb question here
But why bother listing Bruce? He came up in May and is never going back as far as we know.

I think it's based on performance this past season
It has nothing to do with the future.

Even then
He played for two months, how could he possibly have beat what some of the other guys did in six months?
"Aio, quantitas magna frumentorum est."
Its more of what you showed you could do
rather than the numbers you put up.
Jay showed in his two months that he was far and away more talented than anyone else in that league.
Gotcha
I still don’t think he should be on a prospect list, but now I understand a little better.

If I get drunk well
I’ll pass out on the floor now baby,
You won’t bother me no more,
And if I’m drinkin’ well
You know that you’re my friend
And I say I think I’ll have myself a beer.

You're welcome!
Although, it’s not like I told him to get out of my dreams.
