Here we go for another fun filled mostly meaningless second half of baseball. I have really no idea which direction the Reds are heading but here are my thoughts on the rest of the season.
July Adam Dunn will be traded by the July 31 deadline for a minimum of 4 players (2 prospects and 2 suspects)
Scott Hatteberg will be traded straight up for a better than average minor league pitcher.
Joey Votto will be called up
August Ken Griffey Jr will not be traded, although the Reds will try to pass him through waivers several times as potential deals are offered.
Josh Hamilton will go through an incredible hot period earning him Player of the Week honors
Arroyo will go 4-1 in the month
The Reds will climb out of the cellar and make a rise to mediocre and finish the month in 3rd place, albeit with a losing record.
September Phillips will have a great month
The Reds play decent ball finishing fourth for the season.
Ken Griffey Jr will hit his 600th home run on September 12 vs the Cardinals and will finish the season with 39 (or 602 for his career)
