Some perspective...
With Narron gone and McSomeGuy taking over as intereim manager (I do not understand that move in the least; even as an interim position).
Our focus can shift directly to Krivsky. With Narron, Krivsky had his thin veil. Even though we could see threw it, Narron was still the one mismanaging the cards Krivsky dealt him. But, now I would think Krivsky has no where to hide.
Lonnie Wheeler had an interesting look at the roster. I don't agree with a few of his assessments, but, I think he makes the case even stronger (even if unintentional) that Narron had a lot do w/ the state of this franchise.

All wayne had to do...
We've got talent on this ball club. Junior, Dunn, Phillips could have all been all-stars. Sea Bass is hitting great at short. Hamilton has been a huge success. But the holes that Krivsky left on this team have doomed it to failure. That is why he must be fired.

Wayne
I think he has failed on his own philsophy of playing "small ball" in fact I think this team is so dependent on the long ball more than recent years it's laughable to even listen to them talk about the "little things" any more
He doesn't understand that if you play in GABP you have to have a mix of both. You need fly ball hitters to get some cheap HRs and contact hitters. I think thats why Hopper is a solid 4th outfielder he can make contact and hustles, buts needs to learn how to hit a cutoff man

The right handed bat....
The bullpen is our biggest problem, but we need another right handed power hitter either at 1st base or in the outfield.

The logical line
Players were juggled. The top coaches were replaced. The manager was fired. Unless this move leads to success, history suggests that the next to go is the GM.

honestly
On the other hand, he does play the game the right way occasionally - and Adam Dunn never does. Never. Never Ever.

I get the impression
I think that some of the wanting to trade Dunn is laziness on the writers' parts. When a team is bad for a long time, it's easy to say that major changes need to happen. And since Dunn is the epitome of the perceived problems with the offense (right or wrong - mostly wrong), he is the obvious major piece to be dealt. Of course, most of us know that such a view is short-sighted, but it's not the writer's job to look long term. It's his job to sell newspapers and give people something to talk about.
