precisely one day older than my brother. Also, my mom and dad both have June birthdays. I don't think I'll be ordering anything from mlb.com for them though. That pink bat that I bought for Mother's Day still hasn't been shipped yet.

My dad

Was born in Cincinnati, OH this day June 2nd in 1950. Happy birthday, dad, and thanks for intoducing me to Reds baseball.

no birthdays in my tribe but..

we will be celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary on June 16. We walked out of the church just in time to hear Marty call the last out of Tom Seaver's only no hitter.

Congratulations! 29 years is awesome. Personally, I'll be celebrating anniversary #1 on June 24. And my bachelor party was at Shea seeing the Reds play the Mets 4 days earlier (not quite as good as a no-hitter story, but nonetheless much fun).
