Brennamania apologizes for Bataan crack

I didn't see this in the thread, but apparently in Tuesday's broadcast Marty compared the Reds' upcoming road trip to the Bataan Death March.  Not an apt analogy, though Marty is hardly alone in misuing descriptions of war in the sports context.  I think that the Bataan Death March occurred long enough ago to remove the sting from its misuse, but broadcasters and the media always need to be careful when using war analogies, particularly when the event occurred within the living memory of a significant portion of the audience.  To his credit, Marty "profusely apologized" yesterday.

Time to change the Wiki entry from "God" to "Crank"?  Even as hyperbole, a road trip to Oakland, Seattle and Philadelphia can hardly be described as a death march.
